At Home Measuring
To determine your cup and band size, we suggest using a soft measuring tape, and wearing your best underwire bra. Remember, you want a snug fit, not a tight fit, and measurements are a snap-shot in time.
- Under-bust Measurement: Your cup size can range from A to O at Petit à Petit. Understand we have access to a network of brands to support ALL sizes, so don't worry if you don't see your cup size on our website, we can special order. Wrap the soft measuring tape around the under-bust area, where your current band sits, and write this number down. If you have a half, quarter or fractions size, write down the next size up. Example 28 1/2 or 28 3/4 or 28.75, the number to record is 29.
- Apex Measurement: Your apex (nipple) measurement is the last measurement and essential for the cup size, and the measuring tape should be at the fullest part of your bust. Write this number down. If you have a half, quarter or fractions size, write down the next size up. Example 28 1/2 or 28 3/4 or 28.75, the number to record is 29.
- Calculate: Under-bust - Apex = Cup Size. Example: Under-bust (30") and Apex (33") = 3 or "C" Cup. The difference between the two numbers correspond to a letter in the table below. The band measurement is based on the under-bust measurement for this example is a 30 C. If you encounter an odd bust number, subtract 1 from the bust number; depending on your breast tissue, firmness, and density your cup size can fluctuate.
